I’ve completed two new experimental drawings within the last week. The face of the girl was drawn from a photo found while cleaning out the closet of my summer job. The intensity of her expression was so significant that I decided to use the image as a colored pencil and charcoal study. The other piece is an ink and marker drawing of a horse and a bichon. I tried mixing different kinds of pen and stroke to see how it would appear. Gold and silver are especially fun to use alongside the G2 pen!
Very interesting use of gold and silver with black pen and brown tones. But, what an odd image of a horse with a four-legged cloud. 🙂

Very nice. I love the contrast and the way the white stands out aha isn’t the darker colors. Great work.
